What is Margot Robbie’s next movie after Barbie?
Since the phenomenal success of Barbie, fans have eagerly followed every update regarding Robbie’s upcoming films, production projects, and future collaborations. Known for carefully selecting diverse roles rather than chasing blockbuster franchises alone, Margot Robbie continues to surprise audiences with bold creative decisions.
How Barbie Changed Margot Robbie’s Career
Released in 2023, Barbie became far more than a toy adaptation.
The movie:
- Earned over $1 billion worldwide
- Became one of Warner Bros.’ biggest films
- Received multiple Academy Award nominations
- Sparked worldwide discussions about feminism, identity, and pop culture
- Elevated Margot Robbie’s profile as both actress and producer
Through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, Robbie played an essential role in bringing the project to life alongside director Greta Gerwig.
Rather than simply starring in the film, she helped develop the project from the beginning, proving her ability to identify commercially successful stories with artistic value.
What Is Margot Robbie’s Next Movie After Barbie?
Following Barbie, Margot Robbie has been attached to several exciting projects across different genres.

- Character-driven storytelling
- Collaborations with acclaimed filmmakers
- Diverse genres
- Strong female-led narratives
Fans can expect both acting roles and behind-the-scenes production credits.
A Big Beautiful Journey
One of the most anticipated projects on Margot Robbie’s schedule is A Big Beautiful Journey.
The fantasy romance pairs Robbie with Colin Farrell and promises a heartfelt story blending emotion, fantasy, and adventure.
The film explores two strangers whose lives unexpectedly intersect during a magical journey that changes their understanding of love, life, and destiny.
This project marks another departure from Robbie’s previous roles and showcases her versatility beyond comedy and drama.
Wuthering Heights
Margot Robbie has also been linked to a new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel Wuthering Heights.
The gothic romance has inspired numerous film adaptations throughout history.
If finalized, Robbie’s involvement would represent another prestigious literary adaptation added to her already impressive filmography.
Classic novels continue to attract audiences worldwide, making this one of Hollywood’s most anticipated literary projects.
